Thank you for using the website located at www.moneylogz.com (the “Website” or “Site”), through which we offer various applications, widgets, email notifications and other services (“Services”). Etay Lev Limited (“Moneylogz,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) has created this Privacy Policy to let you know what information we collect when you use Moneylogz, and how we use and share it. We may periodically update this Privacy Policy, and so you should check back on this page from time to time.

Where we operate

Moneylogz supports bank accounts in the United States and Canada. The Service is not directed to the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

Your information is processed and stored in the United States.

Information we collect and how we use it

Information you give us. We collect personally identifiable information — information that can identify you as an individual — when you provide it, such as when you create an account or contact us. This includes your name and email address.

Information from your bank. When you connect a bank account, we receive financial account information through our data provider. This is described in Bank account data below.

Receipts you upload. If you upload receipts, we store the images and the details extracted from them.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Website we may collect internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, operating system, date and time of visit, device type, and activity on the Website. We use cookies and similar technologies for this. You can set your browser to reject cookies; the Website will still work, though some features may be limited.

We use this information to provide the Services, to keep the Website working correctly, to develop new features, to respond to your requests, and to send you service and account messages. We do not use it to display advertising, and we do not sell it.

Bank account data

Moneylogz reads your bank accounts through Plaid, our bank data provider. When you connect an account, Plaid handles the connection to your bank and issues us a token that lets us read from it. We never receive or store your bank login credentials.

We do not store your transactions. Balances, transaction amounts, merchant names, descriptions and categories are fetched from Plaid at the moment you or a feature you are using asks for them, and are not written to our database.

We store the account record itself — the institution, the nickname you give the account, and its status — so we know which accounts to read.

When you disconnect an account we instruct Plaid to revoke our access to it, after which we can no longer retrieve its data at all.

Claude connector

If you choose to add the Moneylogz connector in Claude, you can ask Claude questions about your own Moneylogz account. This section describes what that involves. If you do not use the connector, none of it applies to you.

What it can do. The connector exposes four read-only tools: account balances, a list of your connected accounts, a transaction search, and spending summaries. It cannot move money, make payments, change your account, connect or disconnect banks, or modify or delete anything. There is no tool that writes. This is enforced on our servers, not by instructions to the model.

When data is shared. Nothing is shared until you ask a question that requires it. Adding the connector, by itself, transfers no financial data. Each time Claude calls a tool on your behalf, the answer to that specific request is returned to Claude and becomes part of your conversation. A response may contain:

What is never sent to Claude: your bank login credentials (which we never hold), the tokens that let us read from your bank, full account or card numbers, or your Moneylogz password.

Once data reaches Claude it sits in your conversation and is handled under Anthropic’s Privacy Policy and whatever data settings apply to your Claude plan. Those are Anthropic’s terms, not ours. If you delete the conversation, deletion is governed by Anthropic; removing the connector does not retroactively remove data already in your chat history.

What we store for the connector. We record the link between your sign-in and your Moneylogz account so later requests resolve to the right person: the sign-in identifier, the sign-in provider, the email address at the time of linking, and a last-seen timestamp. To avoid re-querying your bank on every question we also hold results briefly in server memory — balances refresh after 60 seconds and your account list after 5 minutes, and any cached entry is discarded no more than 15 minutes after it was created and immediately when the server restarts. Nothing in that cache is written to disk.

Turning it off. You can disconnect at any time at Moneylogz → Connections → Claude → Disconnect. This takes effect immediately: it withdraws the connector’s access and invalidates the tokens it holds, so Claude’s next request is refused. If you sign in to Moneylogz more than one way, disconnecting covers all of them. You may also remove the connector in Claude afterwards, though that is optional. Data already returned into a Claude conversation stays there until you delete it in Claude.

We do not use advertising networks, we do not run interest-based advertising, and we do not allow analytics data to be used for advertising.

Do Not Track

Various browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting, but there is no agreed standard for how commercial websites should respond to it. Because of that, the Site does not respond to Do Not Track browser settings.

Moneylogz is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes and updates

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. When we make changes we will update the effective date above, and give notice in-product for material changes affecting what is shared with third parties. Your continued use of Moneylogz following any changes constitutes acceptance of them.
